  • Working closely with senior stakeholders within ITS, Global and NSE Finance Teams around the 8 Geographies that form NSE delivering insights, critical analysis and recommendations.
  • Leading on the quarterly Budget review for the Cost Share, Projects and Levy with CIO Operations and ITS Functional Leaders.
  • Coordinate the ITS Finance Community of Practice across NSE, sharing strategy and approach within NSE.
  • You will be responsible for the ongoing review and analysis of Global service charges and supporting all financial requests from Global.
  • Build the annual NSE Technology Financial Plan across the ITS business, supporting and developing the portfolio financial management. You will work closely with ITS Stakeholders across NSE to determine appropriate cost funding mechanisms and allocation methodologies.
  • As part of the NSE ITS Transformation you will support the development and review of business cases for new IT Services for NSE and Global, providing insights and analysis for senior leaders.
  • Lead on the financial aspects of the NSE ITS Transformation including developing common accounting principles, developing benchmarks and tracking progress.
  • Drive IT cost management discipline via opportunity cost identification, continuous improvement, and methods to optimize spend and ROI.

    We have an opportunity for someone to join the NSE CIO Operations Team as a Senior Finance Business Partner for ITS. Suitable candidates will be an experienced accountant or have a background in IT Cost Management or Technology Business Management. Responsibilities include;

    Connect to your skills and professional experience

    • Experienced in a Finance Business Partnering or Technology Business Management role, or equivalent.
    • Qualified Accountant with relevant experience in IT Cost Management or equivalent.
    • Strong commercial experience with the understanding of how to manage complex finances within a complex pan European/Global environment.
    • Understand IT delivery and how to design service/product cost, cost recovery and allocation methodologies.
    • Demonstrate relationship management skills and the ability to challenge and influence decision making with senior stakeholders.
    • Proven experience managing a large and complex set of stakeholders.
    • Experience of working in a large, complex organisation or a professional services firm.
    • Excellent oral & written communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
