    Job Title: Process Development Specialist

    Location: Frimley or Portsmouth. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

    Salary: Circa £47,000 Depending on skills and experience – 12 Month fixed term contract

    What you'll be doing:

    • Support the business in the development of the core Engineering processes
    • Assist with future process, run workshops and SME sessions
    • Provide support to the business in the development approach of support material for the core processes
    • Support the coherence of engineering governance approach across all business units
    • Be a mentor with knowledge and expertise in the engineering future process work
    • Write a plan for the development of all supporting material
    • Pilot development of the supporting material for the first process
    • Review of procedure usage to identify information to be used in the support material
    • Support of the engineering assets in the functional guidance library

    Your skills and experiences:

    • Experience with Authoring technical documents and drawing process flows
    • Experienced in Life Cycle Management & Business Management Systems
    • Knowledge of processes, governance and the tools used in Engineering across business projects
    • Good understanding how engineering policies and processes interact with other functions

    The Development Team:

    Working within the Group Engineering team, reporting into the Head of Engineering Governance and Assurance and working alongside the Governance Lead and Principal Assurance Engineer. As part of the team you will also be working closely with the Sector Governance and Assurance Leads & Engineering Governance working group as well as the Engineering Functional Excellence Director and the Group Engineering Director.
