    Job description

    • JOB TITLE: Shareholding Disclosure Compliance SME (6 Month FTC, potential to extend to 12 months)
    • LOCATIONS: Bristol, Cardiff, Chester, Edinburgh, Halifax or Leeds
    • HOURS: Full Time
    • WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site.

    Shareholding disclosure rules require the monitoring and reporting of share and derivative holdings in other companies to UK or Overseas Regulators and to issuers once holdings meet certain thresholds.

    Lloyds Banking Group's Legal & Secretariat team is seeking a subject matter expert with specific knowledge of the UK DTRs, and ideally those of key foreign jurisdictions, to support our operations and planned process improvements.

    What We Need From You

    • Interpretation of Shareholding Disclosure regulation
    • Quality assure others' Shareholding Disclosure interpretation work
    • Assess clients' corporate structure and its relevance to Shareholding Disclosure regulation
    • Analyse market data in accordance with its relevance to Shareholding Disclosure regulation
    • Regulation rule change analysis
    • Answering queries on Shareholding Disclosure regulation
    • Attend meetings as a subject matter expert
    • Liaise on system requirements
    • Review and amend jurisdictional interpretation documents
    • Work with internal partners on data sources and mapping requirements
    • Contribute to the assessment of risk including through application of knowledge of DTRs and market insight
    • Solid understanding of the different types of investment and how they relate to different disclosure regulations
    • Detailed understanding and technical knowledge of shareholding disclosure such as DTR 5, UK Takeover Panel, Section 793 UK Companies Act within a financial organization (within compliance, operations, legal)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent analytical, organisational, and time management skills
    • Experience of using aopshere's Rulefinder service is preferred
