Responsibilities

  • Supporting and challenging the business, crafting well-understood forecasts along with a summary of financial risks and opportunities

    JOB TITLE: IP&I Platform Senior Finance Business Partner

    LOCATION(S): Edinburgh, Bristol or London

    HOURS: Full time

    WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days a week) in either our Edinburgh, Bristol or London office.

    About this opportunity:

    We have an exciting opportunity for a senior Finance Business Partner to join the Insurance, Pensions & Investments (IP&I) Platform finance business partnering team!

    At Lloyds Banking Group, we're undertaking the UK's largest financial services transformation, investing to Grow, Focus and Change our business. Our Platforms teams, which bring together our business and technology teams, play a key role in delivering our strategy and how we invest in our business. This role will work with our IP&I Platforms and business management teams, providing finance business partner support on all aspects of their investment costs and benefits.

    Within Group Investment & Cost Partnering, this role is responsible for maximising value from the Insurance, Pensions & Investments platforms as they drive the strategic change of business unit. The role includes responsibilities across investment costs and benefits and includes day to day management of a small team. This is a leadership role and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute beyond their immediate areas of responsibility as well as being an exemplar of the behaviours which will drive our Grow with Purpose cultural shift.

    What you'll be doing:

    What we need from you:

    • You'll need to be a qualified Accountant.
    • Prior experience of Finance Business Partnering, influencing and driving improvement in Business results
    • Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels across Finance and Business teams
    • Listening, joining the dots and summarising the story (across Investment costs and the resulting financial benefits)
    • Challenging constructively to support better quality outputs and outcomes (e.g. through finding better ways to communicate financial information)
    • Experience of supporting Change / Transformation including the impact of different technologies on financial statements would be valuable
