    Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 depending on skills & experience

    What you'll be doing:

    • Resolve production queries during project delivery, investigate engineering issues, and support project functions.

    Your skills and experiences:

    • Possesses an in-depth knowledge of Warship / marine engineering environments, with a background in constructive and structural engineering.
    • Has a good understanding of design / draughting process and the practical layout of technical drawings
    • Able to perform robust analysis using recognised draughting and analytical tools and to make sound judgements based on experience.
    • Has sufficient breadth of knowledge of Warship design and the sound judgement needed to be able make correct trade-off decisions.
    • Experience of repair, maintenance and integration of ships structures, systems and equipment.

    The QEC PEM team:

    Working within a compact team of engineers providing both reactive and proactive engineering solutions for the QEC platform, liaising closely with Ops teams, Warship Technical Authority and Design Houses to ensure that all solutions meet platform standards, frequently working to tight schedules enabling platforms to meet their operational programs.

    Delivering technical oversight for the integration of system installations early in the design cycle, ensuring constant improvements by capturing historical LFE throughout project planning phases and providing a hub for technical information during the installation phase.
