What you'll be doing:
The BAE Systems Hawk Mk167 Qualified Flying Instructor (QFI) will be responsible for providing and supporting the delivery of live flying training instruction to Qatari Emiri Air Force (QEAF) and RAF ab initio pilot trainees, instructors and refresher pilots on the Hawk Mk167 at RAF Leeming. The role may also include the delivery of training to Weapons Systems Officer (WSO) trainees. As an experienced pilot and instructor, they will be expected to support the supervision of trainee pilots and instructors and perform additional duties such as Duty Pilot, Authorising Officer, Executive Flying Supervisor and conduct Maintenance Test Flights, as directed by Officer Commanding (OC) 11 Squadron (Sqn) QEAF and as agreed by the BAE Systems Crew Training Post Holder or Accountable Manager (Military Flying) as required.
