    Salary: Circa £43,000 depending on skills and experience

    What you'll be doing:

    • Manage and undertake of all aspects of procurement related activity to cost, quality and schedule and independently lead projects and work within the Corporate Procurement Policy and Process in line with business requirements and performance objectives
    • Manage the process to source, negotiate and place major contracts with suppliers
    • Manage contracts to achieve on time delivery of quality and cost standards
    • Contribute to continuous improvement activities
    • Report progress and key issues to a range of stakeholders

    Your skills and experiences:

    • Experience of managing suppliers/ contracts in highly regulated industries
    • Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system
    • Excellent relationship and project management skills
    • Strong commercial and legal skills and experience
    • CIPS Qualification is desirable

    The Integrated Combat Systems Procurement Team:

    The Integrated Combat Systems Procurement team are responsible for managing major high value and complex contracts with significant defence suppliers.
