Responsibilities

  • Partnering with stakeholders in the writing and maintenance of procedures, to support compliance with regulatory requirements, Group Policy and Standard requirements
  • Working with teams across Markets CCO to help in the implementation of controls to be compliant with regulatory requirements, Group Policy and Standard requirements
  • Assisting in the Global Markets governance framework, including organising and minuting Disclosures Clearing House meetings
  • Assisting with any internal audit remediation assigned to the team as required
  • Partnering with the sub-team and the Horizon Scanning sub-team of Markets Regulatory on the analysis of new and changing regulation to identify regulatory requirements,
  • Interpreting the regulatory requirements for the Global Markets business with support from key stakeholders to produce and maintain Regulatory Requirements Documentation
  • Working closely with senior leaders of the business, Chief Controls Office, Compliance, Legal and other infrastructure partners, as well as regulators

    As a Barclays Controls Documentation and Disclosures Senior Manager, you will ensure Markets Regulatory efficiently identifies and interprets the key regulatory, policy and standard requirements and use these to produce and maintain Markets-wide procedures, including control requirements to drive compliance with regulation, Group Policies and Standards. In addition, you will assist in the Global Markets external disclosures governance framework.

    What will you be doing?

    What we're looking for

    • High level of literacy and ability to present ideas and concept concisely and coherently

    • Financial services or related regulated industry experience gained in a commensurate financial services environment

    • Relationship builder with ability to build confidence in senior stakeholders, colleagues and teams alike whilst delivering quality results.

    • University degree in a relevant discipline

    In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
