    We are currently seeking an Associate, Structuring, to join the Desk in London.

    The role holder will also ensure the HSBC values are present in everything they do, both individually and as an organisation.     Responsibilities include:

    - Pricing of Rates and Credit derivatives products (including, but not limited to, Structured products, CVA, FVA) and execution when appropriate alongside the relevant trading team.

    - Product development (creating and designing new products, customising existing offering to clients and situations).

    - Marketing the rates product suite (client presentations, sales teach-ins and internal marketing).

    - Design and maintenance of analytics used by the desk (product performance and risk analysis, market monitoring, risks and limits monitoring, etc)

    - Working closely with the sales teams (SSG and flow), DCM, GM Management Office, etc.

    - Coordination with the EM and other asset class teams to deliver joint products and solutions.

    - Monitoring regulatory and accounting changes both on client and bank level and reviewing the impacts on rates and credit products including identification of solutions to mitigate them.

    Requirements

    - Excellent financial analytics skills and knowledge of derivatives products.

    - Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

    - Relevant Financial education or equivalent work-related experience.

    - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    - Ability to multi-task and to work well under pressure, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

    The location for this role is London.
