Responsibilities

  • Analyzing customer behaviors, trends, profiles, and other data sources in support of the partner's business and communicate them to internal and external stakeholders
  • Being responsible for generating insightful analysis to drive recommendations to help and support the partner improve their business
  • Reviewing profitability Key Performance Indicators to understand root causes of areas of focus around wallet share growth and profitability
  • Working within multiple analytical and data environments including AWS, Tableau and SAS
  • Working and collaborating with primary internal stakeholders from Credit and Data Analytics and Partnership Segment team leadership
  • Collaborating with Marketing, Risk, Finance, Customer Delivery and Customer Experience teams

    Assistant Vice President, ECM Portfolio Analytics

    As a Barclays Assistant Vice President (AVP), ECM (Existing Customer Marketing) Portfolio Analytics, you will be responsible for providing existing customer portfolio analytics to support portfolios from our Airline partners. This is an opportunity to utilize all available data sources the bank has to support the existing customer side of the consumer cards business. You will also have an impact on partner business marketing strategies and provide trends and insights into the portfolio performance.

    What will you be doing?

    • Analyzing customer behaviors, trends, profiles, and other data sources in support of the partner's business and communicate them to internal and external stakeholders

    What we're looking for:

    • Bachelor's degree is required; previous experience in Financial Services Industry and credit card P&L knowledge

    • Solid knowledge of SAS, Excel and Tableau

    • Solid communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly, in both written and verbal form

    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

    Skills that will help you in the role:

    • Master's degree and quantitative disciplines is preferred

    • Solid analytical experience in financial services industry; credit card experience is preferred

    • Solid experience with SAS/SQL or other relevant statistical tools

    • Analytical experience that specifically includes segmentation and dashboard creation
