    Job title: Technology Programme Manager

    Location: Across all our UK Land sites including Glascoed, Radway Green or Washington

    Salary: £57,000 depending on experience

    What you'll be doing:

    • Responsible for ensuring that accurate forward load data is derived for projects from the business toolsets
    • Monitor and report project/programme performance for schedule, technical, financial and quality objectives

    Your skills and experiences:

    Essential:

    • Strong Programme management experience
    • Experience working as a Programme Manager on complex projects/programmes with extensive knowledge of Project Management (tools, techniques, practices) ideally from a comparable industry (Defence/Manufacturing/Engineering sector)
    • Ability to manage customer relationships and work in ambiguous environments

    Desirable:

    • Technical background (in an engineering field)
    • Degree-level qualification (engineering discipline preferred) or comparable experience in the engineering/manufacturing sector, with demonstrable Project Management delivery experience, ideally from a comparable industry (defence)
    • Formal training in Project Management (accredited by APM, PMI or PRINCE), with knowledge of scheduling and risk software tools (e.g. MS Project & Predict!), and experience of SAP

    The Technology team:

    Working with a team of technology delivery managers, you will develop and manage a diverse portfolio of technology projects for external and internal customers to achieve on time delivery of product or milestones, within cost and budget to the agreed quality standard. Through the development of effective relationships across functions, sites, internal and external stakeholders, you will play a leading role in the swift and effective resolution of programme issues.

    You will establish the priority setting/balancing of a number of project teams on a daily/weekly basis. As Programme Manager, you will work with functional colleagues, be responsible for the management of resources and work packages ensuring that competent people are available to satisfy project requirements, whilst maintaining effective resource utilisation.
