LOCATION(S): Edinburgh
HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our office site.
About this opportunity:
As a Data Engineer you will undertake and participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle. This will include requirements analysis, solution design, data interrogation and support of the development and test phases with a particular focus on the technical aspects such as Data mapping, creating system interface documentation and understanding database structures/schemas
You will play a key role in one of our significant delivery initiatives where Lloyds Banking Group has partnered with an exciting Fintech group (Satago) to license its award-winning platform to reinvent invoice Finance. You'll work in partnership with our Enterprise Architect, Solutions Architect and Data Analyst, in addition to business, technical and operational teams, to integrate this new platform into the Bank and migrate our customers seamlessly to it. You'll lead the technical analytical activities to ensure end-to-end requirements are understood and documented, data is mapped and interfaces / systems are effectively designed to meet the needs of our clients and the future of the Bank.
