    Salary: £47,683 to £52,426 (Commensurate with skills and experience)

    What you'll be doing:

    Your skills and experiences:

    Essential

    • Understanding of model based systems engineering process and tools
    • Understanding of the systems development lifecycle (EG IEEE 15288)
    • Be comfortable working with ambiguity, challenging established thinking, innovating, creating new ways of working and leading change
    • Professional Qualification: Relevant Engineering/STEM degree (BEng or Higher)

    Desirable:

    • Professional Registration: CEng (Highly Desirable)
    • Experience of different stages of the Product Lifecycle – Concept Design through to Integration and Test (Highly Desirable)

    The FCAS Digital Engineering Team:

    The FCAS Digital Engineering Team, currently consisting of 15 members, is growing to 50 individuals. Their goal is to achieve advancements in new product development, operational performance, support, and maintenance by utilizing the latest digital technologies and engineering strategies. This will lead to quicker, more cost-effective and superior outcomes, laying the groundwork for the Global Combat Air Programme in the UK, Japan, and Italy. By bringing together people, technology, and data, we are revolutionizing the way aircraft are developed and supported, optimizing our procedures, and reducing product development lead time.
