    Why this job matters

    As a Contract Manager, you'll be responsible for contract management within the Defence sector including revenue and cost, contract obligations, supplier management, risk management as well as the opportunity to be involved in wider initiatives across the team. We manage BT Business' largest managed contracts; managing business as usual service delivery alongside constant change to deliver projects and new business. Delivering capability to the Ministry of Defence with all the challenges they face really matters.

    What you'll be doing

    What we'd like to see from you

    • Contract management experience and an understanding of contract management, large delivery contracts and processes such as project management, ITIL and contract and risk management and opportunities to automate where applicable.
    • Experience working in complex environments/large programmes and the ability to work across organisational boundaries.
    • Experience building strategic relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent people management skills with the ability to develop individuals.
