    What you'll do


    Assurance and Service Monitoring SME, responsible for defining strategy & roadmap, produce & develop technical solutions for the OSS Assurance tools for mobile and fixed-line network for the Digital Networks & OSS.


    Main responsibiities:



    • Collaborate with colleagues in OSS, Architect teams, COE, customers & vendors to define strategic roadmaps for various assurance platforms in mobile and fixed line network. Evaluate new network and OSS technologies, ensure systems are aligned to Vodafone strategy, meeting customer requirements and ensuring a sustainable support model.

    • Design and develop enhancements to the existing platforms for user community. Generate high quality, comprehensive and consistent OSS impact assessments for deliveries. Working with various teams to define and validate solutions are fit for purpose.

    • Responsible for technical deliveries to ensure they are fit for purpose. Build relationship, Manage and Lead the teams of system integrators (3rd party/external) for system development and deliveries.

    • Responsible for Life-cycle management of the assurance platforms and achieving simplification targets defied by Management.


    Who you are



    • In-depth knowledge & experience of design/development/configuration of OSS (NMS) Assurance platform (Netcool, HP, SMARTs etc)

    • Experience and understanding of interfaces and connectivity of NMS to other systems (TT, Automation, EMS etc)

    • Good understanding of OSS solutions spanning to other OSS domains (PM, CM, Probing, Inventory, Planning, Automation, Fulfilment & Activation).

    • Appreciation of key network technologies/protocols including 4G, 5G, TCP/IP, MPLS, DWDM, MW, OTN, EMSs, NFV/SDN, SSL/TLS, SSH, IP-VPN & SNMP

    • Experience of agile & waterfall delivery methodologies & previous experience in performing impact assessments
