    The Deputy Chief Operating Office comprises a set of outcome-focused service pillars including Corporate Services, Chief Control Office, Digital Business Transformation Services, ServCo Management, Group Transactions Implementation, as well as regional oversight for Canada, Latin America and Middle East and North Africa.

    DCOO manages around 1000 suppliers globally with spend over $1.2bn per annum. Managed by colleagues from the CS.

    Outsourced Operations oversee all Third-Party relationships globally with focus on four pillars:

    • Third Party Risk Management
    • End-to-end cost management
    • Building sustainable supply chains
    • Continuous improvement

    The role offers a great deal of variety and you may find yourself:-

    • Ensuring supply chains are operating well and suggesting improvements.
    • Dealing with senior Stakeholders and managing them and their teams through challenging transformation programmes
    • Developing our framework of cost management and reporting across the DCOO and Corporate Services
    • Leading significant transformation projects to improve how Third Parties are managed by DCOO. These will be impactful and on a global scale. You will ensure that changes are fully embedded and control models have been updated to ensure that your improvements will last.
    • Accountable for the development of sustainable supply chains and support the Net Zero in Operations programme, in particular the management of a portfolio of projects to provide us with our carbon offset credits.

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

    • Previous experience within one or more of the following areas is mandatory: Large Corporate third-party risk management End-end cost management of third parties Management of major suppliers and knowledge of frameworks for strategic supplier management Supply chain transformation
    • Design dashboards and operational MI
    • Intermediate to advanced level excel skills is mandatory.
    • Supplier management framework experience is beneficial.
    • Good knowledge on Risks and Issues Management, Helios and Third Party Operated Key Controls is desirable.
    • Global stakeholder engagement and relationship building with the wider teams
    • Experience of leading change within a global organisation

    This role is based in Sheffield, Hybrid.
