    Job title: Sustainment Bid Lead

    Location: Samlesbury. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements

    Salary: £52,084+ depending on skills and experience

    What you'll be doing:

    • Supporting bid activities, as well as offering support to other teams on bid activities
    • Leading and supporting a team of UK bid resource to ensure appropriate delegation of bid workload in order to support development

    Your skills and experiences:

    • Prior experience in bid and proposal environment or position, while working to tight deadlines is essential
    • Ability to adapt communication styles to suit the audience, and interface with people at different levels and skills within the organisation
    • Ability to efficiently and effectively compile and present data, prepare reports and presentations
    • Working knowledge and experience of project management and control principles and process reporting would be advantageous
    • Self-starting capability and possess the skills to identify problems and resolve them unilaterally

    The Sustainment Growth and Strategy team:

    The team support the F-35 sustainment bid function in the launch, monitoring, and delivery of bids and proposals.

    They provide project management and bid support to F-35 sustainment bid activities. This will then assist in the effective application of bid management and project management tools and techniques, in line with the lifecycle management and the operational framework.
