  • To provide operational advice on a range of employment and performance uses and business change on business needs, working in collaboration with the appropriate CoE
  • Review business related people data to identify potential implications within the business context and environment and initiate local actions to resolve these as appropriate
  • To manage, lead or contributes to HR projects including management of LCM for small projects or provide resources and support for larger projects as required
  • To channel information to and from the Employee Service Centre and gives guidance to the business on how and where to access the right support
  • Element of travel quarterly will be required

    Salary: £49,000 – £51,500

    What you'll be doing:

    Your skills and experiences:

    Essential:

    • Must have CIPD Level 3 or Degree in HR / Business
    • Experience of understanding business requirements, translating into appropriate solutions and delivering within budget/timescales and operating successfully in a manufacturing or project-based organisation
    • Broad and varied experience in HR and Employee relations
    • Experience managing HR functional and business projects
    • Good understanding of Employment Legislation

    Desirable:

    • Experience of operating within a Military or Manufacturing environment

    The Weapons and Electronic Warfare Team:

    The Weapons element of the Weapons and Electronic Warfare (WEW) team have overall responsibility for the delivery of all SBDCP Weapons, Ordnance, Munitions and Explosive (WOME) Programme aspects as well as the associated weapons Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE), including WOME and AGE procurement, co-ordinating aircraft and AGE qualification and integration activities, weapon surveillance and leading the WOME safety assessments.
