    The main emphasis of your role will be to support the team in managing the firm's legal and regulatory requirements within the area of financial crime, including but not limited to anti-bribery and corruption, preventing the facilitation of tax evasion and market abuse.

    You will be involved in:

    • Supporting the implementation of the firm's financial crime risk and controls frameworks

    You're a natural at taking initiative. Someone who operates well in an environment where regulations change and evolve and where we need to adapt quickly to remain compliant. You will be comfortable working with regulation that is open to interpretation, be able to make reasoned arguments and communicate these clearly to stakeholders across the business.

    You will:

    • Have experience of working in a Professional Services or Law Firm.
    • Understand financial crime considerations as they apply to professional service firms and how internal policies and procedures are structured and implemented.
    • Experience responding to technical queries based on regulation applicable to professional services firms, using up to date knowledge on the relevant laws/industry guidance.
    • Experience of key components of compliance programmes such as risk assessments, designing and monitoring controls, producing quality documents in appropriate formats such as management reports, technical briefings and regulatory analysis summaries.
    • Be able to demonstrate an ability to follow defined processes while using your own judgment and thinking outside of those boundaries to deliver continuous improvement.
    • Be able to show how you make reasoned decisions and communicate those decisions with clarity and confidence.

We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships).
