The In-Service Aircraft Aerodynamics Aerostructure Team:
An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Senior Aerodynamic Loads Engineer based at Warton. The role will specialise in the simulation and analysis of aerodynamic loads on in-service aircraft and also support new aircraft programmes, leading to the creation of qualification evidence in support of aircraft clearances.
The role will support maintaining and developing the relationship with various stakeholders (including the Group Leader, Technical Authority, European Partner Companies, EuroFighter, NETMA, MODs and their agents) in delivering technically robust and justifiable clearance evidence within project time and cost constraints. In addition, the successful candidate will support the continual improvement of the processes and tools used, as well as sharing best practice across different platforms and discipline areas.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about technical engineering with significant prior knowledge and experience working within the aerostructures or interfacing discipline areas. Career progression is encouraged and supported within the team and the wider business, and this role will offer the opportunity to develop towards a Project Technical Specialist role and be ready to supervise the day to day work and development of junior engineers.
