Responsibilities

  • The Fraud Prevention Manager is responsible for leading a team that identifies, analyses and responds to high impacting fraudulent attacks and drives improvements to our fraud detection and prevention strategies. Key accountabilities of the role include:
  • Leading the Fraud Management review of our defences against assigned fraud types, including new subscription frauds. Understands their effectiveness and drives system and process improvement to enhance loss reduction.
  • Owning the definition and maintenance of those 2nd line operational processes to detect and stop fraudulent orders.
  • Leading activities to identify, investigate and report on existing and emerging trends for assigned fraud types, ensuring all team activities are prioritised and managed in a structured fashion.
  • Clearly communicating to our senior stakeholders the impact and identified root causes of successful frauds, as well as the strategies planned and in progress to address.
  • Ensuring the delivery of a high-quality fraud management service to our MVNO partners.

    Who you are



    • Experience of defining and implementing effective subscription fraud prevention strategies

    • Highly advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to innovate and refine new fraud detection rules and solutions.

    • Extensive experience of using SQL databases and other analytic tools to conduct complex analysis on large datasets.

    • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present complex datasets and ideas in a simple fashion.

    • A broad understanding of telecoms industry products and services and related systems and processes.
