    Salary: £54,793 – £60,326 (Dependant on skills and experience)

    What you'll be doing:

    Your skills and experiences:

    Essential:

    • A degree in a STEM subject, ideally Chartered, equivalent qualification plus time served experience
    • Experience of Systems Engineering within multiple programmes, platforms and/or services would be useful in the role as would experience and/or appreciation of Through Life aspects, (As Designed, As Built, As Maintained and As Operated) with demonstrable breadth of experience in the business
    • Ability to communicate with all areas of the business
    • Demonstrable experience of working on complex projects

    Desirable:

    • Experience in Product Security/Cyber Security. Where this is not present, Product Security knowledge will be provided

    Product Security Engineering Team:

    An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen within the Product Security Team for a Product Security Engineer – Strategy and Capability.

    This role sits within the COO Airworthiness and Centre Expertise, directly supporting the Product Integrity Engineering Discipline Lead and the Head of Airworthiness and Product Integrity. The role is directly responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of Product Security across the Air Sector, delivering the independent assurance activities associated with airworthiness, product safety, product environmental sustainability and product security in a collaborative and supportive environment.

    The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly motivated and an inspirational individual with an interest in Product Security. The ability to provide detailed technical information regarding Product Security and summarise to the level appropriate to the differing stakeholder communities is essential.
