  • Drive Cyber process and technical improvement plans across VBPS and respond to manage and deliver Cyber ad-hoc tasks
  • Technically assess and qualify Cyber VBPS risks raised within your domain of responsibility
  • Work with the VBPS business and technology teams to ensure security controls are implemented effectively with appropriate coverage, throughout the product's lifecycle
  • Deliver technical and non-technical control assessments of VBPS products and solutions.

    What you'll do


    Role Purpose:
    As a member of the Cyber Security VBPS, you will be tasked with providing best-in-class technical security consultancy to Vodafone across a wide range of IT, network & telecoms solutions and services. You need to be able to solve complex and multi-dimensional problems, adopting a risk-based approach. You will be expected to provide consultancy and technical assurance for the VBPS product portfolio with specific responsibility to ensure that Cyber policies and standards are in place and effective. You will be experienced in technical security architectural best practice and be able to identify technical controls improvements to positively uplift the security posture of VBPS.
    Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

    - Work with the VBPS business and technology teams to ensure security controls are implemented effectively with appropriate coverage, throughout the product's lifecycle
    - Deliver technical and non-technical control assessments of VBPS products and solutions.
    - Technically assess and qualify Cyber VBPS risks raised within your domain of responsibility
    - Drive Cyber process and technical improvement plans across VBPS and respond to manage and deliver Cyber ad-hoc tasks


    Who you are


    Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
    - Strong experience in applying technical security baseline standards from Internal and external standards to ensure security through the full product lifecycle of VBPS products and services.
    - Demonstrable technical Cyber experience in IT and networks, ideally in a consultancy or assurance role
    - Some customer interfacing skills/experience desirable

    - Demonstrable technical assessment/ assurance industry expertise in cyber security
    - Relevant professional qualifications. E.g. CCNA, CISSP, CISM. IISP, ISO27001 LI/ LA or similar desirable,
