    Salary: Up to £70,000 dependent on skills and experience

    What you'll be doing:

    • Manage the Shared Infrastructure Networks Team on a daily basis. Responsible for all financial aspects, assignment of tasks, tracking and reporting on activities

    Your skills and experiences:

    Essential:

    • Team leader within a Networks or IT discipline
    • Ability to manage complex issues for multiple concurrent projects balancing the needs and priorities of each project against the others
    • Experienced in JIRA issue and project tracking tool
    • Experienced in financial reporting

    Desirable:

    • Meet the requirements for registration as Incorporated Engineer or Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council and preferably be a member of a relevant Professional body
    • Cleared to SC level

    The BAE Systems Shared Infrastructure Networks Team:

    The BAE Systems Shared Infrastructure Networks Team develop and support network solutions for the Royal Navy Surface Fleet. The team support networks solutions spanning across the engineering lifecycle from design concept to in service support. This role will provide work package management support as part of a team delivering capability upgrades to the Royal Navy from the in-build Type 26 programme to the in-service Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers over the next 10 years. You will have the opportunity to develop a diverse and high skilled team as well as develop and enhance your own skills and knowledge, with the potential to lead into more senior positions within a global business.
