  • Building a wide network of contacts across Finance and the business, with collaboration between teams being the key to your success in the role.
  • Responding to individual and team objectives and invest in improving personal performance by growing own skills and capabilities and coaching others.

    JOB TITLE: Cards and Loans Performance Management and Insight Senior Manager

    LOCATION(S): Halifax, Bristol, Cardiff or Leeds

    HOURS: Full time

    WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in one of the above office sites

    About this opportunity

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, curious, and inspiring individual to lead a team of fourteen colleagues to deliver high quality planning, performance reporting, analysis and decision support for the Cards and Loans businesses.

    The bank is continuing to deliver its exciting growth strategy, and it is a pivotal time to join the Consumer Lending Finance Team as you will provide support to the Business Partner Team and the Business directly on new product and service initiatives as we continue to enhance and develop the Retail product offering in the UK market.

    This Senior Manager role sits within the Retail Performance Management and Insight Team which supports the full range of products within the Retail Bank and provides the opportunity for exposure to increase your breadth of knowledge across these products.

    Day to day you'll be;

    What you'll need

    • Be curious - do not accept the status quo. Challenge the way we currently do things and look for ways we can improve them.
    • Be able to work collaboratively and enjoy working with stakeholders from different areas.
    • Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience of leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Be able to demonstrate that you can both challenge and support senior customers.
