The Cost Modelling team:
The role holder is responsible for providing independent Commercial & Cost Estimating oversight, ensuring all costs and opportunities are collated, modelled and normalised as appropriate. Will be responsible for driving end to end cost control and improvements throughout the Naval Ships business along with embedding the cost management framework and governance into day to day activities.
You will work closely with other functions, including engineering, manufacturing, and programmes and estimating, to ensure a co-ordinated approach to cost management, mitigating risks, driving cost improvements and implementing cost control.
As well as working closely with the supply chain to understand key cost drivers, develop should cost modelling and seek solutions that drive additional value and provide an optimum cost outcome.
