    As part of HSBC's Innovation Banking Division, the Director, RM of Fund Banking will work with the Innovation Banking team as well as other internal stakeholders to lead prospecting and client management activities for banking Venture Capital “VC” firms. This individual will identify product and service opportunities appropriate for management companies, general partners / limited partners and funds, have acute knowledge of the innovation ecosystem, maintain a strong network within the VC community, and lead financial & credit analysis for capital call lines of credit. This individual will be responsible for making material contributions to the attainment of revenue growth for the VC Fund Banking business.

This includes having a deep understanding of the banking and credit needs of VC firms, credit knowledge, and strong relationship management skills in client and market engagement.

    For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $250,000 and $350,000.

    The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

    Requirements

    • 10+ years' experience relevant experience in Commercial Banking, Cash Management, Private Equity, Venture Capital and / or equivalent
    • Independently originate and maintain fund banking business
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and influencing skills
    • Knowledge of banking needs, sector trends, underwriting and deal structuring skills, and regulatory environment for VC firms
    • Ability to drive attainment of a business segment/area's P&L
