Responsibilities

  • Leading new business architecture required to support the Regulatory Capital computation per the Federal Reserve Bank Basel III requirements across the IHC
  • Providing guidance on Regulatory Capital external reporting requirements to the Federal Reserve
  • Maintaining/developing robust internal controls governing Reg Cap including policies and procedures, change control, comprehensive documentation, and review by Internal Audit
  • Being the point of contact for management as well as for communications with external regulators
  • Liaising with individual business lines and other stakeholders on Regulatory Capital Management Information
  • Developing a data governance and attestation framework for Regulatory Capital program and coordinate efforts with other areas feeding into regulatory capital process
  • Engaging with Regulatory Policy and Risk Oversight for development and implementation of calculation methodologies

    As a Barclays US Basel IV Regulatory Capital Vice President (VP), you will account for the calculation & reporting of the IHC's RWA, Capital, and Single Counterparty Credit Limits and build out of the Basel IV program. This is an opportunity to work in the Regulatory Capital Team & develop and manage the on-going calculation and reporting of both point in time & CCAR Projected risk weighted assets (RWAs), capital, leverage, and SCCL Large Exposures for Barclays IHC (Intermediate Holding Company) to internal and external stakeholders.

    What will you be doing?

    What we're looking for:

    • Bachelor's degree in economics, Finance or Accounting

    • Solid background in US Bank regulatory/ risk reporting

    • Extensive experience with Federal Reserve Bank Basel III regulatory Capital requirements, preferably at a Large FBO

    • Prior experience in managing governance and controls framework

    Skills that will help you in the role:

    • CPA, CFA, MBA beneficial and background of US GAAP accounting

    • Advanced level of understanding of Excel & PowerPoint

    • Knowledge of Regulatory Capital stress testing requirements for CCAR reporting

    • Exceptional knowledge of products – Derivatives, Secured Financing Transactions, General Credit Products
