  • Assisting in overall Business relationship with assigned business teams
  • Conducting regular meetings and reviews with Vendors and Business stakeholders within Category
  • Ensuring best practice is put in place for negotiation of all market data purchases
  • Managing and leading commercial negotiations with relevant Market Data vendors
  • Liaising with Business, Procurement and Legal to ensure favourable commercial terms, meeting business requirements & mitigate business risk
  • Ensuring that Barclays leverages its global purchasing power with the vendors and undertaking proactive management of the global contracts
  • Ensuring that the terms of all global deals are communicated to the relevant entities who are entitled to participate in them
  • Ensuring adhere to Barclays Procurement Sourcing and Supplier Management process

    As a Barclays Market Data Commercial Manager, you will proactively manage a specified group of vendors within relevant Product categories and Business areas within Market Data Commercial Management in alignment with the overall Market Data strategy. You will have the opportunity to proactively manage a specified group of vendors and assisting business areas on behalf of Market Data Financial Management to ensure that Barclays obtain the most cost-effective market data services to meet business requirements.

    Salary / Rate Minimum: $80,000

    Salary / Rate Maximum: $120,000

    What will you be doing?

    What we're looking for:

    • Higher economic, business, technical, legal or finance education degree

    • Experience in financial services industry

    • Experience of contractual negotiations and commercial management

    • Solid stakeholder management and influencing skills

    Skills that will help you in the role:

    • Knowledge or awareness of third party risk management processes and controls

    • Knowledge or awareness of Market Data vendors and products

    • Understanding of functional areas of Bank

    • Knowledge or awareness of Regional/global market data inventory management and cost allocation experience

    Where will you be working?

    You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
