    Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager

    Location: Preston or Frimley. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

    Salary: Circa £64,000 depending on skills and experience

    What you'll be doing:

    • Leading highly complex, large value projects, within a complex supply chain and stakeholder environment which have transformational business impact
    • Providing strong and effective leadership
    • Working with vendors defining project plans to achieve organisational goals whilst focusing on business change
    • Delivering to time, cost and quality
    • Providing timely and concise decision-making information to customers and stakeholders
    • Proactively managing risk and control through the lifecycle of the project
    • Ensuring project delivery adheres to BAE governance criteria

    Your skills and experiences:

    • Experience of working on enterprise-wide IT projects and successfully managing suppliers as part of the project delivery team
    • Demonstrable experience of full end to end project lifecycle delivery
    • Experience of successfully delivering business transformation and business change
    • Experience of waterfall and agile project delivery methodologies
    • Can demonstrate experience of leading on project collaboration and cross functional working
    • Degree qualified APM Qualifications/associated certificate or equivalent experience
    • Exposure to IT project management

    The Enterprise IT Project Management Team:

    As part of the team, you will be leading large, cross functional, multi domain teams to deliver projects of significant size and complexity. You will be fully accountable for budgets (£1m+), these will be enterprise level projects looking at infrastructure domains predominantly, as well as potentially transformational change, and cover all business units in BAE Systems.
