    Salary: Circa £38,000 Depending on skills and experience

    What you'll be doing:

    Your skills and experiences:

    Essential:

    • Knowledge and experience of UK Government Security frameworks such as Government Functional Standard GovS 007: Security, Joint Service Publication 440/441/490, and National Security Vetting Standards
    • Experience with Physical Security Integrated Management Systems (AACS/IDS/CCTV)
    • Previous experience working within a List X/FSC company or Protective Security role
    • Ability to work with the highest level of discretion and integrity as the role involves handling sensitive and personal information
    • Sound written and verbal communication skills, with experience delivering briefs and presentations to staff and clients

    The Digital Intelligence Site Security team:

    The Digital Intelligence Site Security team is responsible for protecting the company's people, infrastructure, information, assets both in the UK and abroad. As strategic business enablers, they are instrumental in supporting impactful projects integral to the UK Government's objectives, offering day-to-day operational assistance, expert guidance, and invaluable advice on protective security matters. In times of heightened threats, the team has a pivotal role in ensuring operational continuity, enabling our staff to deliver seamlessly to our clients in an environment that is safe and secure.

    The Deputy Security Controller will assist the Security Controller in ensuring the security of the Yeovil site, handling the administrative and operational aspects of managing site security operations, as well as deputising for the Security Controller in their absence.
