Job title: Senior Product Integrity Engineer

Salary: £50,817+ dependent on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

• Undertaking tasks within programme cost and timescales which includes hazard analysis, using recognised tools and techniques, such as PHI, PHA, FMECA, HAZOP, FTA, etc
• Preparation of Product Integrity documentation such as but not limited to Product Integrity Management Plans, Product Integrity Case Reports and Hazard Logs
• Provision of technical expertise and general Product Integrity advise to project/design teams on all life cycles of a project
• Act as a Product Integrity assessor within own specialist area or support the planning of and carrying out of Product Integrity reviews or to assist other parts of Weapon Systems

Your skills and experiences:

• Hold a degree in Engineering or equivalent proven experience
• A good understanding environmental principles
• A good understanding of Product Security principles
• Experienced in engineering design of Weapons and associated Systems

As part of BAE Systems Platforms and Services sector, Weapon Systems (UK) designs, develops, manufactures and supports artillery systems, naval guns, and provides engineering capability to the wider BAE Systems business. As part of the Weapon Systems Engineering team you will be working on new and / or existing Products (i.e. M777 towed howitzer, 4.5” MK.8 MOD 1 Naval Gun, AS90 Self Propelled Howitzer & 105 Light Gun), through all stages: from the initial concept; design and development; testing of one or more prototypes; through to final manufacture and implementation of a new product or sub-system.
