    Salary: Circa £39,000 depending on skills and experience

    What you'll be doing:

    • Communicating effectively with Stakeholders at all levels within the Submarines Business and External 3rd Party Contractors
    • Shouldering responsibility for your own SAP EAM Work Centres, Facilitating, and completing Planned Statutory Inspections as well as Planned & Reactive 3rd Party Specialist Maintenance

    Your skills and experiences:

    Essential:

    • Experience in an Engineering, Maintenance or Asset Management environment
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to liaise with Stakeholders at all levels within the Submarines Business and External 3rd Party Contractors
    • Experience in managing and working to safe systems of work (SSOW)

    Desirable:

    • An understanding of LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations), PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations) and PSSR (Pressure Systems Safety Regulations)
    • An understanding of planned preventative and reactive maintenance
    • SAP EAM (Electronic Asset Management)
    • Health and safety qualifications (IOSH, NEBOSH)

    The Plant Maintenance Operations Team:

    The Plant Maintenance Operations team is responsible for supplying a varied and wide scope of support to the Submarines Business. This role is an opportunity to join a growing team, maintaining the business site wide, in a varied day-to-day environment of office and on site responsibilities. We have the opportunity to pursue additional training and qualifications, potentially leading to further education opportunities for the right candidate.
