    Salary: £39,316 – £43,323 (Commensurate with skills and experience)

    What you'll be doing:

    • Supporting ‘Service Delivery Organisation' New Business and Change lead activities through development of technical bid proposals in-line with the Fast Jet Support New Business and Change Process
    • Ensuring that the Fast Jet Support New Business and Change Process fulfils the requirements of the ‘Air System Engineering Lifecycle' Phases 1B – 2A; including Engineering Concept Plans and Green Star Reviews
    • Supporting Fast Jet Support Programme Management / Programme Engineering Management leads during mobilisation activities post New Business / Change awards; engineering lifecycle Phases 2B – 2C
    • Delivering Continuous Improvement within area of responsibility to optimise team performance
    • Managing stakeholder interfaces

    Your skills and experiences:

    • A minimum of HNC or HND (or equivalent experience) in a relevant STEM discipline
    • Engineering knowledge of the Eurofighter Typhoon platform is preferable but not essential
    • Engineering knowledge and experience of aircraft support is preferable but not essential

    The New Business and Change Team:

    You will support delivery of the technical elements of contract proposal for both New Business opportunities and Change to existing contracts across all Typhoon Customers (NETMA, UK, Salam, Oman, and Qatar). Direct responsibilities will be to work with the Fast Jet Support ILS Programme Engineering Management Teams / Support Services to develop and lead approval of technical bid proposals. This will require you to engage with an integrated programme / multi-discipline team to develop technically understood and commercially bounded proposals. This role is essential to enabling Fast Jet Support and indeed the wider Typhoon programme to secure future contracts
