    Job title: Lead Project Professional – Delivery – SASK

    Location: Barrow-in-Furness. This is a full time on site position

    Salary: From £43,373 per annum depending on experience

    What you'll be doing:

    • Enable the delivery of learning and events within the facility
    • Line management of Learner and Event Services team
    • Manage relationships with key facility stakeholders both internal and external to the facility
    • Lead on governance, assurance and delivery of facility standards and process confirmations
    • Lead on capacity management of classrooms, event space and desks

    Your skills and experiences:

    Essential:

    • You will be an experienced professional with strong knowledge of Project Management (tools, techniques, practices)
    • Be able to effectively problem solve emergent issues and challenges
    • Have a good understanding of the Business environment to ensure the delivery of the facilities strategic priorities and build strong stakeholder relationships
    • Be recognised as a Project Management practitioner with a PM qualification or willing to work towards it
    • You will need to have demonstrated line management experience and the ability to upward manage senior stakeholders

    The SASK Facilities Team

    This is a fantastic opportunity to join and lead the Learner & Events Services Team that sits within the SASK Facility team. They focus on the enabling of all training within the facility and supports the operational delivery of the Submarine Academy for Skills & Knowledge (SASK). Here you will have high exposure to various levels of the business and external stakeholders. This is an exciting time to join the team as we are undergoing growth and expansion as well as offering a varied role.
