    Job title: Production Controller

    Location: Cowes – Isle of Wight

    Salary: Up to £37,450 dependent on experience

    What you'll be doing:

    • Planning & scheduling of work (MS Office & SAP)
    • Progress Production Works Orders through the Manufacturing process – ensuring process compliance
    • Interfacing with multiple departments including Procurement, Projects, Despatch, Stores etc
    • Traceability of stock, adhering to Quality processes and Export Control compliance

    Your skills and experiences:

    • Computer literate (SAP & Microsoft Office experience beneficial)
    • High accuracy of work – methodical and pragmatic
    • Good communication skills
    • Understanding of Supply & Demand, MRP (Manufacturing experience beneficial)

    The BAE Production Control Team:

    The Production Control team consists of 7 Controllers including this position. Our controllers are involved in every step of the build process, providing support to the manufacturing functions to ensure requirements are met. Production Control interact with every department within BAE Systems, interfacing with Procurement, Projects, Stores, Manufacturing, Engineering and more. Production Controllers form a part of the larger Logistics function, including Stores and Packing & Despatch – between these functions we are responsible for all material control from receipt of component parts to delivery of complete product. It's a fast paced, dynamic environment which requires good communication, problem solving and planning.
