Join our team as a Learning & Skills Specialist in Networks and Corporate Units until March 2025

Location: London, Birmingham or Bristol (Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office, 2 remote)

As a Learning and Skills Specialist at BT, you'll collaborate closely with colleagues across our business to craft and execute learning strategies. Your mission? To ensure that our team members are not just skilled but also prepared for the ever-evolving demands of their roles. By designing and delivering dynamic training solutions, you'll help us achieve industry-leading results and enhance our organisation's overall competitiveness.

Responsibilities

• Lead skills planning and needs analysis to support strategic priorities and performance improvements.
• Shape high-impact, world-class learning experiences aligned with BT's learning strategy.
• Enhance skilling, reskilling, and upskilling processes across the organization.
• Build effective relationships both internally and externally for optimal training solutions.
• Manage local Learning and Skills governance and budget processes.
• Mentor and support fellow learning professionals.
• Stay on top of emerging trends in work-based education.
• Coach individuals, teams, and managers for continuous improvement.
• Identify and manage third-party suppliers to maximize value.
• Ensure learning solutions meet BT's quality standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement learning solution evaluation plans.

• Previous experience in a complex corporate environment with senior stakeholders.
• Exposure to colleagues in complex technology roles.
• Comfortable with ambiguity.
• Familiarity with working alongside external suppliers for learning solutions.
• Experience leading learning projects through the design cycle.
• Proficiency with learning experience platforms like Degreed.
• Familiarity with learning design tools like Gomo, Articulate Storyline.
• Knowledge of User Experience design and User Interface thinking.
