    Job title: Operations Leader – Reliability Centred Maintenance

    Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

    Salary: From £43,373 depending on skills and experience

    What you'll be doing:

    • As an Operations Leader you will be liaising with a variety of stakeholders including maintenance and engineering assurance teams as well as:
    • Day-to-day management, leadership, mentoring, and development of the Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) team
    • Leading the development of maintenance strategies for all site assets and facilities based on regulatory, statutory and business requirements
    • Developing and managing a programme of work for delivery of maintenance reviews and production of planned maintenance schedules
    • Ensuring obsolescence and critical spares reviews are undertaken, where appropriate, to support the specification of planned interventions and through-life asset management
    • Creating and managing KPIs associated with the maintenance review and control of planned maintenance schedules processes, including periodic reporting and continuous improvement activities

    Your skills and experiences:

    • Demonstrable experience of leading RCM (Reliability Centred Maintenance) implementation within a highly regulated industry
    • Minimum of HNC in related discipline or equivalent experience
    • Experience leading or managing a team
    • Understanding of Asset Management principles
    • Data analysis and report generation experience
    • Knowledge and experience of relevant regulations/legislation (e.g. LOLER, PUWER, PSSR, Legionella)
    • Experience in maintenance and upkeep of various plant equipment & asset types

    Desirable:

    • Experience using SAP
    • Critical spares evaluation and through life management
    • Knowledge and experience of ISO 55000/1 implementation

    The Reliability Centred Maintenance team:

    This is a brand new position within the Site & Facilities function. This position will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of the site and provide an opportunity to put your stamp on our approach to managing new assets and facilities, helping set a standard for reliability centred maintenance.
