    Job Title: Principal Engineer – Electrical Engineering RF & EMC

    Salary: £45,000+ depending on experience

    What you'll be doing:

    • Supporting the Senior Engineering Manager in reviewing and setting site standards linked to Radio Frequency equipment and EMC
    • Working with the team to assess and manage the site radio frequency database
    • Input into problem solving, engineering issues relating to the subject matter
    • Supporting the site engineering team as an SME at requirements capture stage and design reviews

    Your skills and experiences:

    • Degree in Electrical Engineering subject
    • Interest or bias in Radio Frequency/EMC/Power Quality
    • CEng or ability to attain

    The Specialist Engineering Electrical team:

    The Site Specialist Engineering Electrical team provide specialist support to the business with respect to electrical standards, the team support a wide range of electrical disciplines with opportunities to learn and develop in LV, HV, C&I and Communications, each day varies with the chance to problem solve and drive innovative solutions from your experiences. As the Barrow site infrastructure grows you can be a play a part in the development of new facilities and help drive improvements in aging and existing systems, structures and components.
