Job Title: Senior Electrical Power Engineer

What you'll be doing:

• Functional design and definition of Electrical Power Systems equipment
• Authoring and reviewing technical documentation
• Supporting management of associated technical risks, assumptions and dependencies
• Liaising with subject matter experts on electrical power technical aspects across a broad range of engineering disciplines
• Opportunity to travel to various locations throughout the UK, including various BAE, customer and supplier sites

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Engineering experience
• Significant knowledge of AC and DC electrical power systems
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Electrical Power Systems Definition team:

Working on the UK's next-generation SSN design that incorporates technology from the UK, Australia and the United States you will be part of the Electrical Power team responsible for defining the needs of equipment, defining the system elements required to feed into the submarine design and build process, including design documentation, spatial modelling and build outputs.
