  • Develop and grow new and existing products within the Media and Broadcast portfolio. Our diverse portfolio includes both fixed and cloud based solutions.
  • Develop multiple business opportunities, each of which generates a long-term profitable revenue for BT.
  • You will be responsible for the sustainable growth of the revenue and margin across the account with a focus on migrating to new services. Success will be achieved through the identification and closure of new deals for increased revenue and Incremental Contract Value whilst defending the existing revenues and margins in the accounts allocated.
  • You will be responsible for the account strategy and coordinating with the virtual teams across different functions to manage overall sales and contract performance for a strategic account. Driving share of wallet, managing contract change control, developing new business whilst maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Additionally, you will ensure that we have accurate contact information for the accounts and drives access to insight and improvements to the overall experience.
  • You will also seek to promote BT and its wholesale capabilities and to develop additional market opportunities for Wholesale.
  • You will be a strategic professional, responsible for representing the Media and Broadcast team, selling our products, services, and solutions to the to achieve our ambitions of delivering growth across the business.

    What you'll be doing

    Skills we are looking for ....

    • Sales professional skills - lead generation, positioning value, objection handling, influencing and negotiation through to sales closure
    • Ability to successfully lead a complex bid with the bid team support.
    • Commercial understanding, including pricing models and business cases, and experience of project planning and delivery.
    • Leadership skills to lead virtual team to success
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to problem solve and create innovative solutions.
    • Excellent negotiation skills in all aspects of commercial deal handling including legal terms, finances and solution aspects. .
    • Able to quickly build and maintain relationships at the most senior levels.

    Experience we would like to see...

    • Strong track record of sales achievement in large accounts with high revenues.
    • Influences, develop, drive and motivate sales operations at both a tactical and strategic level.
    • Ability to deliver on business objectives over and above the sales targets.
    • Success in winning large complex bids with non standard T&C's and solution designs. (3-18 months sales cycle times)
    • Experience of driving virtual teams to deliver necessary business results
