  • Program Design and Implementation:
  • Collaborate with the lead trainer and internal and external stakeholders to design customised learning modules, graduation overall learning roadmap, and post-program embedding plan to meet program objectives.
  • Ensure that the BT Business School programs are aligned with priority leadership capability and culture shifts, Business strategy, and transformation plans.
  • Project Coordination and Oversight:
  • Manage multiple projects within the program, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the lead trainer, program team, and senior stakeholders to achieve program milestones.
  • Oversee the program coordinator to manage participant queries, track and report on attendance and learning completion, and manage logistics to deliver a quality program experience.
  • Provide logistics planning and on-the-day learning event support for events in Birmingham, London, and Manchester.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders, sponsors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Communicate program progress, risks, and achievements to relevant parties.
  • Risk Management and Issue Resolution:
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with program delivery.
  • Address issues promptly to minimize impact on project timelines.
  • Evaluation, RoI, and Continuous Improvement:
  • Regularly assess program performance against predefined metrics.
  • Implement improvements based on feedback and lessons learned.
  • Review and report on return on investment and business impact.
  • Conduct end-of-program reviews, including recommendations for the future of the program.
  • Budget Management:
  • Monitor and control spending in line with the agreed budget.

It offers participants the opportunity to increase their leadership capability, influence the culture in Business, and build their network. This is an important program sponsored by the BT Business CEO and delivered by a former BT Exco member to support our senior managers and senior leaders who play a critical role in executing the Business strategy and transformation plans. Approximately 650 participants will go through the program in 2024.

    As the BT Business School Programme Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating this large-scale leadership development program within our organisation. Your responsibilities will span learning design, event delivery, execution, and evaluation aimed at enhancing leadership capabilities and demonstrating return on investment.

    What you'll be doing

    Skills and experience

    • A strong track record of program and project delivery in large complex organisations, preferably with a global colleague base.
    • HR or learning specialist subject matter expertise, familiar with best practices, industry trends, and HR & learning strategy & policy.
    • Subject matter expertise: Experience in designing leadership or learning interventions that can demonstrate clear return on investment.
    • Track record of building strong stakeholder relationships and influencing outcomes.
    • Data analysis, insight translating into compelling stories to drive decision-making.
