  • Manages the development and communication of the Digital Business outcome roadmap, ensuring stakeholder visibility.
  • Oversees the design and development of change and adoption plans for tribe outcomes including communications and training activities to onboard and support stakeholders onto new ways of working.
  • Leads the analysis of complex data, including interpreting and recognising trends and patterns, comprehension of complex information, and identifying additional data sources or best practice to help devise solutions.
  • Leads the creation and implementation of change management strategies and plans that maximise employee adoption and usage.
  • Shapes process mapping, creates impact assessments and identifies gaps between current and future state of business processes.

    Why this job matters

    The business change manager has a critical role in ensuring that we successfully achieve the expected outcomes for Digital and Business as we transition our capabilities and propositions onto strategic architecture. Responsible for defining the strategy for business change and adoption, and executing against it will ensure the delivery of quality solutions for our internal and external customers, and the smooth transition to the use of new tools for our internal teams. Coordinates a wide range of tribe roadmaps to delivery succinct and meaningful comms within Digital and Business on our critical outcomes, what they are and why they are important.

    They will lead the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities to improve Business Change and Adoption processes and drive alignment Business Change deliveries across multiple functions to improve interfaces across teams.

    This role will follow a hybrid working pattern of 3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week remote

    What you'll be doing

    You'll have the following skills and experience

    • Communication: Very strong communicator capable of making an impact, to ensure investment meets current and emerging business and technical needs.
    • Lead a matrixed team, with the right interpersonal skills to support, guide and coach and collaborate across common goals.
    • Proven change-agent and demonstrate experience in driving transformations, fostering collaboration, formulating strategy and resolving performance issues is an advantage
    • Knowledge and experience of shaping and executing against a change and adoption strategy for a multi million pound roadmap
    • Improvement focus – You bring a continuous improvement mindset, anticipating and analysing obstacles in work processes. You drive developing solutions and implement improvements to bring operational efficiencies.
    • Strong People focus and Leadership skills,
    • Technical Knowledge: Domain-specific knowledge of customer, contact and portfolio products and technologies pan-BT
    • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
    • Transformation: Able to manage long term changes and adapting the unit in line with the business. be confident in managing major strategic changes
    • Problem Solving: Must be able to proactively solve business problems that deal with uncertainty e.g. investment planning including location, skill and resource. Also, some problems will be multi-platform wide, impacting multiple services or cross-portfolio solutions.
