Responsibilities

  • Working with the PMO to foster initiative as necessary; creation and maintenance of detailed project plans covering all deliverables
  • Assisting the business strategy from business case through to initiation, requirement analysis, design, build, testing, implementation and closure
  • Providing regular and accurate reports on progress against plan to stakeholders and coordinating management of internal and third party resources
  • Developing and communicating any change requirements with key stakeholders
  • Ensuring projects and initiatives meet the agreed delivery requirements and that acceptance are managed against agreed acceptance criteria and to a defined plan
  • Leading the creation, communication and implementation of Operational Change Initiatives in CSO
  • Assessing and managing risk; removing /reducing barriers towards realizing goals, ensuring mitigation actions are in place and managed
  • Preparing business cases for new change initiatives including gathering, analysing and presenting cost and benefit metrics

    As a Barclays Operational Change Manager, you will be responsible for delivering Operational change activities and supporting the development of CSO as part of Security Transformation & Delivery agenda. You will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of assigned are scoped, planned, tracked, and managed to successful completion, and for the successful delivery of projects to plan, budget and agreed quality and governance standards.     What will you be doing?

    What we're looking for:

    • Experience of working on operational change or business implementation activity, including communication planning and assessing training requirements

    • Experience of managing change initiatives throughout the full delivery lifecycle

    • Relationship building, stakeholder management and great communication skills

    • Ability to challenge and offer alternative creative solutions to progress at speed and with quality

    Skills that will help you in the role:

    • Experience in leading and managing multiple stakeholders within a complex matrix environment across multiple geographies

    • Experience of project mobilisation, initiation and planning in addition to management of established projects

    • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office, including spreadsheets, presentation tools, word processing and Project, and Programme Management software tools

    • Experience using MS PowerPoint to visualize and present information to stakeholders, demonstrating excellent presentation and communication skills
