Responsibilities

  • Being responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of all Cost Transformation Discovery recommendations signed-off by the business
  • Tracking and reporting on all signed-off customer and financial benefits, along with other key elements of implementation delivery
  • Owning the overall portfolio of projects and recommendations post sign-off, producing relevant documents and reports to illustrate progress and benefit realisation
  • Being responsible for presenting at ExCo and MD-level on a regular basis on the overall transformation portfolio, benefit realisation, key issues /risks and escalations
  • Partnering with the business across finance, operations and technology, amongst other areas, to support in the financial planning process and interlock on transformation plans
  • Collaborating with all business cost leads to support the respective areas in meeting their cost and wider financial challenges
  • Being responsible for developing and standardising presentation packs and reports that can be used across all projects of the portfolio
  • Being responsible for utilising external and internal benchmarking sources to set the right targets and ambition for the business

    London or Northampton

    As a Barclays Implementation and Benefits Tracking Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of the identified cost-saving opportunities of the Cost Transformation Discovery team across Barclays UK. You'll be supporting Barclays UK meet its financial targets and solve its operational challenges. This is an opportunity to be managing a portfolio of projects and recommendations, with attached customer and financial benefits against them, ensuring they are all implemented by the business and tracked in full.

    This role will be based from either London or Northampton. We will confirm your place of work at the point of offer, ensuring that this is considered in line with our future ways of working and overall location strategy.     • Analytical and agility in approach and thinking and problem-solving

    • Excelent leadership skills, both direct and virtual

    • Analytical: Change management/issue management/transformation

    • Financial reporting/analysis experience – reviewing and understanding P&L, balance sheet and cash statements

    Skills that will help you in the role:

    • Able to provide healthy challenge and alternative creative solutions to progress at speed and with quality delivery

    • Project management/financial qualification

    • Implementation experience

    • Being efficient in managing complex projects

    Where will you be working?

    London:

    In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.

    Northampton:

    Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. This state-of-the art energy efficient building holds up to 2,500 staff. The office location is perfect for travel from the midlands and London alike as we are based just off the A45, it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
