JOB TITLE: Azure Virtual Desktop Automation Engineer
SALARY: £66,861 - £90,000
LOCATION: Edinburgh or Leeds
HOURS: Full-time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

The Client Virtualisation function is pivotal to accelerating the Group's transformation agenda & adoption of cloud native capabilities. The team delivers, supports and develops AVD capabilities using ensuring that the services are suitable for enterprise-wide consumption across multiple locations and 20,000 colleagues.

As one of our AVD Automation Engineers you'll participate in a team developing, testing and maintaining virtualisation solutions for the whole of LBG. You'll have responsibilities for the development of these solutions which will bring genuine benefit based on business requirements. You'll also be key to furthering the skills more junior colleagues to improve capabilities within the team
We'll expect you to be a technology innovator challenge conventional thinking and influence a new approach to technology change underpinned by modern principles.
Operating in an exciting environment with the opportunity to work across the Azure technology Stack you'll be working closely with and influencing vendors to align their products with LBG strategic goals.
About you:
You should have experience with design and development of solutions using technology across a subset of the following areas and be able to evidence capability to AZ104 and AZ140 :
