Responsibilities

  • Actively support the wider growth of the Cyber Strategy practice through strategic vision, proactive business development, and proposal generation.
  • Manage the resourcing and delivery of client engagements, working seamlessly and collaboratively with colleagues across Accenture.
  • Contribute and be seen as a SOC thought leader internally, represent Cyber Strategy at Accenture events, industry conferences and other external meetings at events, forums and speaking engagements.
  • Meet personal and career development objectives agreed with the Cyber Strategy leadership team – including the completion of internal and external training courses
  • The ability to obtain security clearance.

    The Role

    Do you want to be part of the fast-growing Cyber Strategy team working at the cutting edge of cyber security and resilience?

    We are looking for a talented, entrepreneurial, and driven consultant to deliver SOC transformation consultancy services. This role will also provide opportunities to develop more sophisticated and ground-breaking managed services and accelerators.

    We are looking for an ambitious professional with a broad awareness and deep understanding of cyber security and in particular, knowledge and experience of cyber security operations capabilities.

    You must have an outgoing and engaging personality, have strong written and oral communication skills, have a passion for security operations, and be a real team leader and player. Your business development, consultative sales and commercial contracting experience will be developed at pace.

    Qualifications

    The following skills and experience are essential for this role:

    • Have a deep technical understanding and appreciation of the strategic, tactical, and operational challenges involved in delivering business-led, intelligence-driven SOC services across people, processes, and technology.
    • Have practical experience of building and/or managing the full range of SOC capabilities, including threat monitoring, incident response, threat intelligence, threat hunting, detection engineering and detection content development and management.
    • Stay current with security operations best practice and applicable regulatory standards, and have experience using the products of organisations such as the NCSC, NIST, CREST, Mitre, CIS and SANS.

    Set yourself apart:

    • Have the drive and creativity to address complex client SOC and cyber security challenges, using the full suite of Accenture cyber resilience offerings and your own experience, to address problems and architect bespoke solutions.
    • Have C-Level credibility and the ability to build and develop long-term trusted relationships with and leverage senior stakeholder networks.
