What you'll do
- Act as the Vodafone's cyber security IT & Cloud Hardening technical expert.
- Lead the IT & Cloud Hardening product team to define and maintain the global IT & Cloud Hardening product strategy, vision and roadmap and lead its delivery, in collaboration with the IT & Cloud Hardening ADM, through virtual and matrixed teams.
- Leverage your deep platform expertise to lead the technical design and implementation of endpoint health platforms in Cyber Prevent to the optimal security posture.
- Communicate the product, vision & roadmap regularly to the ART and product stakeholders at agile ceremonies and governance boards, and prepare and deliver briefings for the Cyber, Technology Assurance & Strategy Leadership Team
- Liaise with large security vendors for financial and operational relationships.
- Liaise with Cyber Security Risk, Control & Compliance to ensure that the Cyber Prevent IT & Cloud Hardening roadmap is always aligned to Vodafone's risk mitigation strategy with optimal risk reduction outcomes.
- Responsible for managing technical product related governance, regulatory and legal requirements such as registering and maintaining product related risks, supporting Internal Assurance, Audit, TSR, GDPR and SOX related activities
- Support the Platform Manager and Service Design & Transition Manager in the service availability & quality management of IT & Cloud Hardening platforms including demand management, service design, platform management, change management, licence management, continual service improvement. Conduct regular service reviews.
- Act as a role model and ambassador for the Technical Career Path, mentoring junior team members in their development and pursuit of Level accreditation.
Who you are
- Strong IT & Cloud Hardening knowledge to act as Cyber Security's global technical lead. 5+ years of professional experience managing platforms in a technical role.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to present to and successfully work with a wide variety of stakeholders including the Cyber Leadership Team and other senior leaders across the organization. Ability to communicate and report concise summaries of complex scenarios and information.
- Track record of delivering cyber strategies in a complex and dynamic technology environment
- Experience constructing security documentation and security standards/designs
- Strong organizational skills to support the cadence of various governance inputs such as vendor presentations, KPI reviews, weekly and monthly reports, CTAS papers and presentations etc.
- Strong analytical skills to inform effective data driven decisions on service improvement & risk reduction
- Ability to create highly effective collaboration across globally dispersed teams in order to deliver the consistency, quality, and risk reduction outcomes required
- Ability to create coaching and learning environments for our junior team members
- Vendor management experience
- Experience supporting security assurance and audits
Must have technical and professional qualifications:
- Professional Security Qualification (like CISSP, CEH, CCSP, CISM, CISA, CCIE)
- Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Design, Engineering or similar
