    JOB TITLE: Cloud Architect

    SALARY: £68,202 to £83,358 depending on experience

    LOCATION: Edinburgh, Bristol or Leeds

    HOURS: Full time

    WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site

    Job Summary:

    Act as a key partner to our software engineers, ensuring that our architecture roadmap is a key input into our technical delivery, as well as listening, understanding, and responding to the needs of the engineers. Aim to deliver the highest quality customer driven software whilst continually challenging, motivating, mentoring, and supporting engineering teams. You will understand technology implications for people and process, and you will bring this to your holistic view of design.

    Essential Skills & Experience

    Must have:

    Hands on software development experience with one or more modern programming languages

    Technical knowledge and experience in the domains of database management, data integration, cloud/SaaS integration, cybersecurity, and authentication.

    System design for Highly available distributed systems

    Working experience of cloud architecture (GCP, Azure or AWS)

    Experience of both batch and event driven architecture

    Preferable:

    Great interpersonal skills and a good communicator with technical and non-technical people

    Experience with ETL and ELT

    Experience in working with product oriented teams
