Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work you do
  • Working with colleagues and stakeholders across all functions in the organisation to drive a world class service for key clients
  • Reviewing, analysing & providing insight on all Specialist activity within PBWM Investments, utilising MI to drive efficient use of fungible resource within the team
  • Processing a variety of high value transactions and complex corporate actions within a tight control framework and within SLA
  • Identifying and resolving intricate issues on complex market events
  • Working with colleagues across all jurisdictions to share knowledge and collective understanding of policies and procedures that may affect the clients we serve in PBWM

    As a Barclays Investment Specialist Analyst, you will work as part of a team accountable for providing world class client service to a diverse client base across Private Bank and Wealth Management. Within this role, you will play an integral part in the delivery of specialised white glove Investment services for key clients. Activity supported will include complex Corporate Actions, bespoke activity, direct-to-market product delivery amongst other specialist actions.

    What will you be doing?

    What we're looking for:

    • Great time management and accountability, with the ability to deliver accurate information in short time frames

    • Good attention to detail and ability to make informed decisions with ability to articulate rationale

    • Ability to adapt and develop solid grasp of relevant systems used to service clients

    • Good knowledge of operational risk

    Skills that will help you in the role

    • Good verbal and written communication skills

    • Experience using Avaloq platform
